Energy Balls
ENERGY BALLS!
This recipe is vegan (contains no animal derived products)
AND all natural
Ingredients:
1 cup (dry) oats,
1/2 cup natural peanut butter (or other nut butter),
1/2 cup ground flaxseed or wheat germ,
1/3 cup honey,
1 tsp. vanilla,
cinnamon to taste,
Optional:
1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips ("Enjoy Life" has dairy, gluten and soy free chocolate chips),
1/2 cup raisons,
1/4 cup kashi good friends cereal.
Instructions: as simple as it gets! mix all the ingredients together! Let the mixture chill in the fridge for about a half hour. Then roll the mixture into 1 inch balls. Keep refrigerated for best results. I left the last three ingredients as optional because you could really put whatever you want in it! get creative! coconut, walnuts, granola, dried cranberries, etc.
